In 1740, Admiral Edward Vernon took measures to decrease the strength of the British navy's rum ration. However, his solution of adding limes and sugar to make the drink more enjoyable sparked the creation of Old J Spiced Rum. This modern day version pays tribute to Vernon's inventive idea by infusing a special blend of 11 flavors into the finest Caribbean rum.
